It’s Monday but more importantly, another day closer to drinking pints in sunny beer gardens!
But today, we’re checking out the Talking Head American Pale Ale from Williams Bros brewing.
The brew comes in a 500ml can, clocks in at 4.4% ABV and has an IBU of 40.
On the nose, it’s crisp, clean and there’s fresh notes of peach, pine and a sweet caramel aroma coming through too.
I head in for a sip, notice that it’s medium to light in body and straight away, I reckon this will be a great BBQ beer as it’s got a light carbonation to it making it very thirst quenching.
The taste is more of the same as the aroma with orange and pineapple hints coming through whilst ending on a slightly bitter aftertaste.
I’ve really enjoyed this offering from Williams Bros and I’d love to try this on tap sometime in the future when the pub is calling. It’s totally sessionable and would pair well with a warm, bustling beer garden on a sunny summer’s eve.
I’d give this 3.8 Byrneybois out of 5
G’luck,
