A Fistful Of Cans Rye IPA (Farmageddon)

When a man’s got money in his pocket [for cans] he begins to appreciate peace.’
– Joe

Today, we’re checking out the fantastically named A Fistful of Cans by the ever reliable Farmageddon brewery.

This is a Rye IPA brewed with Cascade, Chinook and Columbus hops.

The brew itself comes in a 440ml can and clocks in at 6.2% ABV.

The tin is eagerly cracked open and poured to reveal a dank amber hazy beer with a generous off white head.

On the nose, there’s a nice roasted malt aroma with some citrus scents shining through. It smells super clean, despite its dank appearance.

The first sip yields more of the same, bursting with an orange peel flavour, very slight bitterness and light enough carbonation with a medium body.

There’s an element of biscuit and hints of spice in the taste which makes it known that the brew is to be sipped and enjoyed. ‘We’re in no rush here, let’s relax and have a good time’ it says.

Overall, I’ve enjoyed this and it’s another tasty tipple in a long line of solid bangers from Farmageddon.

Check this out if you get a chance, I got this from the Bot off licence on Malone Road, Belfast.

I’d give this 3.9 bulletybois out of 5
