IT’S GONNA BE MAY
So it is… Anyway, now that we have that out of the way. How about a beer review?
This is the Indie Pale Ale by Brewdog. This brew comes in a 440ml can and clocks in at a sessionable 4.2% ABV.
The pour into the tasting glass is a light amber colour with a little white head.
On the nose, it smells quite crisp and fresh with aromas of malts, florals and some fruits like pineapple and citrus.
To taste, it’s more of the same but with a little bitterness that sort of lingers through the whole tasting. There’s a bready, almost cornflake quality to the flavour here which gives it a bit of depth.
The brew has a medium body with a light enough carbonation to make it a nice sipper. I’ve enjoyed this as a little treat beer.
I’d give this 3.3 indiebois out of 5
G’luck,
