The dry January train rolls on and today we’re checking out the Jever Fun non-alcoholic pilsener by Jever brewery which is a German brewery. A bit like Fruh but only, this crowd have been on the go for over 170 years as the Jever brewery opened in 1848.
So here we are with their 0% pilsener. I pop the cap and get it poured to reveal a very light colour with a very slight head.
On the nose, there’s a slight malt aroma with a sharp, clean and grainy smell coming out of the glass.
I head in for a taste and notice the light carbonation before anything else. Following this was a lemon and a bitterness that made me think this is more like a radler than a pilsener.
Overall, it’s a grand tipple and quite refreshing.
I’d give this 1.7 Jeeeeevers out of 5
G’luck,
