Here we are in the cusp of 2021 – here’s hoping this year will be excellent for us all!
One thing is for sure, we’ll still be drinking great beers in the new year.
The second last can review spot of 2020 goes to Heaney with the Anywhere Under The Sun Pale Ale with Lemon and it’s quite sessionable at 3.5% ABV.
The brew pours a solid yellow colour with a thin white head.
On the nose, I’m getting a clean, lemon and sour note. It smells like a carbonated lemon soft drink almost and I’m pretty excited to get into this.
On the mouth, it’s really smooth, very light and refreshing. There’s a slight bitterness and sour to this which is really pleasing and the lemon flavouring really shines through as well.
All in all, I’ve enjoyed this brew and I’d definitely have it again. I’ve had it in the fridge for a while before drinking so it was super cold and fresh.
I’d give this 3.3 sourbois out of 5
G’luck,
Seán
