This week’s tipple comes in the form of a 330ml tin and it’s the Classic Hit Extra Pale Ale.
It clocks in at a respectable 4.4% which makes it perfectly session-able.
It pours an amber tint and almost looks like a lager but is given away by the generous frothy head of it. On the nose, I’m getting a floral lightly hopped aroma with hints of citrus fruits and grain.
I go in for a sip and on the tongue, it’s got a delicious citrusy flavour with malt biscuits in the body of it. The light spice taste lingers long enough to hang out until you’re ready for the next sip too. The brew is lightly carbonated which makes for a pleasant drinking experience.
All in all, I’ve enjoyed this as well and at this stage, I’m beginning to think that Yeastie Boys can do no wrong. Well played!
I’d give this 3.6 danceybois out of 5
G’luck,
