Peckham Pale (Brick Brewery)

Brick Brewery have today’s beer review spot. This tin has the ‘Peckham Pale’ monicker, is a 4.5% ABV American Pale Ale and is a wee 330ml boi. I grabbed this whilst on a shopping treat trip up to the Vineyard, Belfast which, if you haven’t been, is an absolute treasure trove of goodness and super knowledgeable staff.
So anyway… Beer? The can is lashed open and I notice the sweet orange & citrus aroma before taking the inaugural sip. It’s really easy on the palette from the get go and has a slight caramel taste, before giving way to a bit of a fruity, zesty fiesta. It’s a great beer for a warm day such as this where even my teeth are sweating as it’s wholly refreshing and really goes to war on your tastebuds, in a good way. Like one of those wars where everyone has a good time and goes home safe to their warm beds after. Bad analogy yeah, but sure, ye know yourself. To sum up? Grab one of these for sure, it’s quite session-able and really helps quench the thirst on a hot day. It’s a good starter beer as well if you plan on having a few on an afternoon with your dinner.

I’d give this a 3.9 Peckybois out of 5
